‘Autumn Walks’ is an original wood engraving print from a limited edition of 50. Printed on thin off-white Japanese paper using traditional oil based ink.
This print was inspired by a walk I took at one of my local beaches. It was a cold and windy day but the sun was out and these two people had the whole beach to themselves. I sat at Hawkes Point and watched them walk the length of the beach and back as I sketched the scene. The clouds were constantly moving and each time the sun peeked out from behind them it lit up the whole beach, creating a beautiful contrast between the light sand and the dark cliffs behind.
Paper size: 8 x 10 inches (20.5 x 25.5 cm)
Image size: 4 x 6 inches (10.5 x 15 cm)
*This print comes unframed
Framing tip: This image size fits nicely in a standard size 5x7 inch mount aperture. If you want to frame it in a window mount (like the 4th photo) it should be easy to find a pre-made frame to fit!
